Digital Awards Cabo Verde
On January 31st, 2025, the Digital Awards Cabo Verde took place in Praia, Cabo Verde, celebrating outstanding achievements in the country’s digital and entrepreneurial fields. Organized by Cabo Verde Digital, this event highlighted the innovations and talents shaping the digital ecosystem in Cabo Verde.
Among the winners, Workin’CV received the Best Coworking Space Award, recognizing its essential role in promoting innovation and collaboration within the local entrepreneurial community.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches, award presentations, and live musical performances, reinforcing Cabo Verde’s commitment to digital development and entrepreneurship.

Workin'CV at the Demo Day of the 5th edition of the Cabo Verde Digital Fund!
On December 12th, Workin’CV was pleased to participate in this event that celebrates entrepreneurship and technological innovation in Cabo Verde. The Demo Day allowed several startups to present their innovative projects to a panel of expert judges.
To support the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Workin’CV rewarded the winning startups by offering them free access to our coworking space and the opportunity to host a promotional event to expand their networks and create new partnership opportunities.
Believe in Yourself
The 5th edition of “Believe in Yourself,” organized by the Nostalgia di Cabo-Verde association, was successfully held at the Labor Exchange in Saint-Denis. The event, focused on the impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on the jobs of tomorrow, brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts.
Highlights of the day included workshops, masterclasses, roundtable discussions, and musical performances that energized the exchanges. Solange Lopes, CEO of Workin’CV, was the godmother of the event, and Carlos Andrade (@artolash) served as the godfather. Workin’CV was also present as a partner and key player, providing expertise and support for this initiative.
Participants had the opportunity to explore innovative solutions and enhance their skills for the future, in an inspiring and dynamic setting. A memorable edition filled with surprises and special moments!

On October 19, 2024, the Cabo Verde Cultural Center in Portugal hosted an exceptional event celebrating Cape Verdean craftsmanship and creativity. Organized by Mize Acessórios, the exhibition brought together talents from the world of fashion and beauty to showcase design, innovation, and Cape Verde’s cultural heritage.

Gerasom di Milliom
Gerasom di Milion 2.0 took place on August 17, 2024, at the Government Palace in Praia. This immersive event dedicated to entrepreneurship brought together entrepreneurs and business creators for conferences, workshops, and networking sessions. The goal was to train, inspire, and provide practical tools for success in the business world.
Workin’CV proudly supported this edition as a partner, contributing to the encouragement of entrepreneurship and innovation in Cape Verde.
Negoc'Art
On June 5, 2024, Workin’CV, in collaboration with The Artist’s Way CV, organized the fourth edition of its NEGOC’ART masterclass series. The event was led by the talented artist Aires Melo, offering participants a unique opportunity to enhance their illustration skills.
The Illustration Masterclass took place at Workin’CV’s premises from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, bringing together art enthusiasts eager to refine their technique and explore new artistic approaches.

Conference on Female Entrepreneurship of the Cape Verdean Diaspora
On March 25, 2024, Workin’Caboverde organized the Conference on Female Entrepreneurship of the Cape Verdean Diaspora, part of the second edition of the event “Create, Innovate, and Connect.”
The event brought together female entrepreneurs and experts to discuss successes, challenges, and opportunities both nationally and internationally. One of the main topics addressed was the concrete issues faced by diaspora entrepreneurs in their investment projects in Cape Verde, as well as exploring innovative solutions to strengthen the impact of the diaspora on the Cape Verdean and global economies.
The National Entrepreneurship Award
On March 23, 2024, the National Auditorium in Praia hosted the first edition of the National Entrepreneurship Award, an initiative by Ujamaa aimed at recognizing the efforts of small and medium entrepreneurs in Cape Verde.
The event brought together many entrepreneurs who were honored for their significant contributions to the economic and social development of the country.

YouTube content monetization x CVD
On March 21, 2024, Cabo Verde Digital hosted an event on YouTube content monetization at the Workin’CV coworking space, where panels were held with the participation of Workin’CV.
The event allowed for discussions on the challenges of monetization for creators in Cape Verde, offering opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups.
The event was also broadcast live on Instagram.

On March 21, 2024, Workin’CV and Cabo Verde Digital signed a partnership to boost entrepreneurship and innovation in Cape Verde.
This collaboration includes exclusive discounts, mentorship, and six months of free coworking space for three startups enrolled in the Bolsa CVD or GoGlobal programs.
The goal is to foster the development of innovative projects, access to funding, and create networking opportunities for emerging businesses.
NEGOC’ART x TheArtistWayCV second Édition
On January 25, 2024, WorkinCV launched the second edition of NEGOC’ART, in partnership with @TheArtistWayCV, in the city of Praia. The event began with a photography masterclass, led by photographer Sandro DA FONSECA, who shared his advice and experiences with participants passionate about the art of photography.
The event also offered a networking opportunity, bringing together professionals from the creative industry and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and create new synergies.
This event is part of WorkinCV‘s commitment to supporting and promoting creativity and entrepreneurship in Cape Verde.
WorkinCV organized the first edition of Negoc'Art
On November 23, 2023, WorkinCV organized the first edition of Negoc’Art at its premises. This event, focused on the theme of music, brought together professionals from the music industry, passionate artists, and entrepreneurs to share experiences and valuable advice.
The artists present shared their journeys, offering valuable perspectives to emerging professionals.
The event was also marked by a beatmaking masterclass and a preview of the “New School” project in Cape Verde, aimed at providing new opportunities in the local music industry. It was an evening full of exchanges and discoveries, strengthening the ties within the country’s musical ecosystem.
Txabi di Futuri
On August 25, 2023, WorkinCV had the honor of being invited to the first edition of the Txabi Di Futuru Cabo Verde 2023 event in Praia. This meeting provided a platform to discuss the experiences, challenges, and opportunities related to the emigration and re-emigration of Cape Verdeans.
The event brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and members of the Cape Verdean diaspora to exchange ideas and solutions aimed at strengthening the ties between Cape Verde and its diaspora. The discussions focused on topics such as skills transfer, investments, and collaboration for the country’s economic development.
Gerasom Miliom
On August 12, 2023, the Gerasom di Milion event took place at the University of Cape Verde (UniCV). This first edition brought together entrepreneurs, students, and professionals to discuss entrepreneurship and economic opportunities in Cape Verde.
WorkinCV actively participated in the event, contributing to the promotion of entrepreneurship and business development in Cape Verde.

Networking event "Create, Innovate, and Connect,"
The networking event “Create, Innovate, and Connect,” organized by CABOVERDE CALLCENTER & WORKINCV on August 11, 2023, brought together leaders and entrepreneurs from various sectors to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas. This event strengthened synergies and partnerships to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Cape Verde. A big thank you to all the participants for their presence and authenticity.
1st Entrepreneurship and Business Development Fair (FEFE)
The 1st Entrepreneurship and Business Development Fair (FEFE), held in Praia from May 18 to 20, 2023, was an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their services and establish connections. The event aimed to promote interaction between start-ups, micro and small businesses, as well as young entrepreneurs, with a strong focus on fostering entrepreneurship, business development, and job creation.
The fair also facilitated the exchange of information and experiences, contributing to the expansion of business networks and the discovery of new entrepreneurial initiatives. Workin’CV was present, actively participating in networking and engaging with other professionals in the sector. An inspiring and enriching event for all participants!
The Cabo-Verde Business Connect
The Cabo-Verde Business Connect took place on April 22 and 23, 2023, in Paris, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and cultural actors to promote Cape Verde’s economic and cultural opportunities.
Organized by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Investors for the Development of Cape Verde (SIEDCV), this event served as a platform to strengthen ties between Cape Verde and its diaspora. Caboverde Call Center and its subsidiary Workin’CV were present, contributing to strategic exchanges and showcasing the country’s economic potential.
